As winter kicks in, none of us are forgetting to swap our summer dresses and flip flops for a woolly jumper and boots. But are we all remembering to change our skincare regime? The cold harsh weather outdoors mixed with central heating indoors can leave our skin crying out for hydration, so it's time for a moisture boost! Here are our top tips on how to keep your skin hydrated this winter.
Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise
You may be using a great moisturiser you've got left over from your summer regime, but try moving to an oil based moisturiser in the winter time. This will help create a protective layer on the skin to lock in extra moisture! 
Try our Rose Perfecting Oil, a delicate, but deeply moisturising, facial oil which contains the healing properties of Hellianthus, Argan Oil and precious Rosa Damascena. It is rich in essential nutrients, antioxidants and vitamins and, therefore, a must for all skin types. Apply before your normal moisturise for an extra boost!
 
Look after those lips
Our lips can really suffer in all the cold weather, leaving them chapped and sore. Try giving them an overnight moisture kick with a thick layer of Vaseline, it really does the trick! Keep water luke warm! 
After a long day, it's very tempting to get home and jump straight into a hot bath... But the intense heat can actually break down the lipid barriers in the skin, leading to more moisture being lost! Try and keep the water luke warm, and remember to moisturise lots afterwards! 
Sunscreen! 
Don't forget, sunscreen isn't just for summer time... keep applying through the winter!
