Rosina was a dancer at the infamous Eve Club in London, and used to concoct lotions and potions in the kitchen to counteract the negative effect of the heavy makeup she wore for work.
Crows Cremine was (and still remains) the standard for removing heavy panstick and cake make-up, but as it includes ingredients such as Paraffinum Liquidum and Petrolatum, Rosina wanted a lighter formula that would remove make up without pulling her skin. So she set about making skincare for herself but soon all her friends wanted to use her home made products, which were produced using organic ingredients like Aloe Vera and Rose Water. This was the birth of Rosina’s Lotions and Potions.
Creating the Future
Rosina’s Lotions and Potions has now been brought into the twenty-first century, striking a beautiful balance between natural and organic ingredients along with the latest scientific breakthroughs.
“My Grandmother has always been an inspiration to me with her insight, energy and sheer zest for life. I have used Rose for its healing and moisturising properties and wonderful fragrance, adding the latest peptide technology for anti-ageing.”
Sophie Reynolds, Rosina’s granddaughter, has now proudly launched the brand, with skincare, candles, soaps, lip-balms and signature fragrance for gifting. Beautifully packaged and boxed, Rosina’s Lotions and Potions looks back to the past to create the future of skincare.
